Man Camps

Atigun Pass

  • The scope for this project was to provide 112 man camp to be located in Atigun pass. From start to finish, the time frame was two and a half months that included programming, design, permitting, manufacturing, procurement, equipment, transportation, assemblage, financing, funding, commissioning, incinerator, prime and back up generator system. Delta Leasing, LLC and our team met this deadline and provided a quality product. The project was completed on time and under budget.

BP Tarmac Camp

  • Delta Leasing, LLC entered into an agreement to provide a 212 man camp for BP Exploration. The scope also included a kitchen dining facility for 400 people, a waste water facility, and a generator for temporary power. This was a very successful project for several reasons. BP made a strong commitment to the success by providing excellent project managers here in Anchorage and on the slope that tracked the project and communicated with us on a weekly basis. BP also provided a team of experts to advise on BP’s construction and specifications.  The close involvement by BP with the design-build team was instrumental to project success. Another reason for the success was the fact that all teams; manufacturer (Builders Choice), BP, Delta Leasing, LLC and the other design-build team were based in Anchorage.
  • The project was enhanced by everyone’s desire to create a camp that would raise the standards for housing on the slope. Certain amenities such as increased amounts quality common areas, increased privacy in the rooms, large flat screen TVs, internet availability, increased access to phones, architectural design  elements and the use of color to enhance the appearance of the camp, all contributed making the camp a pleasant residential and recreational environment for the workers.

Teck-Pogo 50 Man Additional Housing

  • Provided 50 bed addition to the existing Pogo Mine complex located near Delta Junction, AK.
  • The project design, engineering and installation services were completed by Builders Choice Inc.
  • All units were built in our Anchorage facility complete with bathroom, laundry and mechanical facilities.
  • After trucking the modules to the job site, units were assembled in a very narrow area on an already congested site.
