Alyeska Resort Employee Housing

  • From Concept to design, to manufacturing of 70 modules
    that composed the 8 manager units and 4 eight plex units.
  • Constructed during the fall of 2007 a 20,000 square foot building adjacent to the Alyeska Prince Hotel in Girdwood, Alaska. BCI was general contractor for the complete construction of this project from civil infrastructure to occupancy ready in December for Alyeska Hotel staff.
  • Completed 2007

Aurora Hotel

  • 327 Bed Hotel Complete with Office, Kitchen, Dining and Recreational facilities.
  • BCI's Role: Subcontractor, Modular Fabricator
  • Completed 2009

Ft. Richardson, Cottonwood Military Housing

  • Build and field installation of 43 units for military family housing, consisting of Duplexes, Triplexes and a Five Plex all with varied color schemes and custom architectural features.
  • Manufactured modules, deliver, install and dry in roofs.
  • Additional sub contracting by Builders Choice Inc to others have included, dry wall tape, texture, prime and paint as well as laminate flooring installation.

Coastal Village Dormitory Facilities

  • 126 Man Dormitory Facility in Platinum, AK
  • 4 individual housing units composed of 5 modules each to create a complex to house 26 men each.
  • BCI worked closely with Coastal Villages Regional Fund to design build the 26 man units.
  • During the fabrication of these housing units which were barged to Platinum Alaska, we learned about special considerations in the manufacturing of units that need to be barged on rough seas.
